Art: Retna x Pasadena Museum of California Art

The Pasadena Museum of California Art will be launching a new exhibition entitled, “Street Cred: Graffiti Art from Concrete to Canvas”, highlighting the city of Los Angeles’ wide-ranging graffiti styles. Expected artists to be featured in the show is L.A. native, Retna. Retna's distinct style is inspired by ancient hieroglyphics and calligraphy, using familiar symbols to create unique murals painted on trains, walls and overpasses throughout the city. A number of select pieces from the artist’s works will be on display at the museum from May 15 until September 4.
