Naskademini's 'Hangin Pictures On My Wall' Is a Nod to '90s Hip Hop

M ontreal-based Creative and Visual Consultant, Naskademini presents 'Hangin’ Pictures On My Wall' art installation, a reminiscent time capsule the '90s, encapsulating the golden era of hip hop. The exhibit was recently showcased during this year's All-Star Weekend in Toronto, featuring a collection of monochromatic rare photographic images of early rap phenoms. Brooklyn's Finest, Jay Z and the late Notorious B.I.G.  make cameos in Naskademini's curated exhibition, highlighting the keen focus on the major players of the era.


'Hangin’ Pictures On My Wall' also includes iconic portraits of the likes of Heavy D, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Jeru tha Damaja, Kool G Rap and Dj Polo. The Source and XXL magazine were also strategically juxtaposed alongside other nostalgic hip-hop-specific items.
