Nappy DJ Needles Mashes Outkast & A Tribe Called Quest for 'A Tribe Called Kast'

One can only wonder what this would of did for Hip Hop.

I n the wake of Phife Dawg's passing, a memorial service was held in Harlem where ATLien André 3000 revealed that both Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest had spoken about releasing a collaborative project. Unfortunately, fans never got the chance to hear what probably would of been an instant classic.

Coincidentally, a DJ by the name of Nappy DJ Needles released a project in 2013 with the intention of creating an ATL/NY/Dungeon Family/Native Tongue hybrid. The end result concluded to 12 blends featuring the lyrics of Outkast over beats by A Tribe Called Quest. The music from 2 of Hip Hop's most iconic groups incorporated into one rather dope package.
