Architecture: Mass Studies x Korean Pavillion

Photobucket
Some more architecture from the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China featuring the Korean Pavillion by Mass Studies. The nice thing about this pavillion is that Mass Studies lives up to the name while actually applying some background knowledge into their design, using letter forms of the Korean alphabet, Han-geul to shape the pavillion. With art from Korean artist Ik-Joon Kang, the pavillion will be in white panels with a relief of letters in four different sizes and approximately 40,000 aluminum panels decorated in bright colours. (more images after jump...)
