Sports: Kings Win BIG In Draft
With the 5th pick in this years NBA draft the Sacramento Kings selected forward DeMarcus Cousins from the University of Kentucky. DeMarcus, who played along side of the #1 overall pick John Wall had a breakout season and helped lead his team to the The Big Dance and eventually the NCAA Championship game! This pick is a perfect addition to a struggling Sacramento franchise who was awarded the 1st overall pick last year in the draft with rookie of the year Tyreke Evans. For Kings fans Cousins has to be a sigh of relief to finally have a strong, big man in the post who you can run a solid offense around. DeMarcus was easily the best player remaining after 1st overall pick Wall was taken by the Washington Wizards! Most of all, and more importantly DeMarcus brings a winning attitude to a team who hasn't had a winning season since Rick Adelman and the gang! Congratulations to this years draft, now lets see what Lebron, D Wade, and Bosh do with free agency!!!!!
