Hip-Hop: VH1 Hip Hop Honors (South)?

Whatever happen to the gud ole' hip hop honors where it didn't matter where you were from North, South, East or West, where gud music and hip hop got honored as a whole. Trust and believe I know how hard it was for the South to actually get noticed in the entertainment industry as hip hop artist but as long as I could remember the event has always been called VH1 Hip Hop Honors. That's it, and everyone came out enjoyed themselves as successful artist. The host made a joke a implying that the south is taking African Americans one hundred years back, but this is taking hip hop 14 years back, putting labels on us instead of considering one another as brethren. Shouts out to all the legends South, East and West and for putting forth the effort to serenade us with gud music. Hip Hop.
