Fashion: Stussy x Marvel Comic Capsule Collection

After a thorough search through conventions, eBay, and local comic book stores for old issues of Marvel comics with classic covers that would mold well with their design aesthetic, Stussy is ready to release their capsule collection in collaboration with Marvel Comics. The collection will be divided into two series, series one features a collection of tees and hats that fuse archival Marvel images with Stussy’s iconic graphic aesthetic and will be available April 27, 2011. Series two, features graphics t-shirts and hats with new works from an array artists worldwide, invited to revisit their childhood and interpret their favorite heroes or villians utilizing their signature styles. Some of the artist include Mr. Cartoon, James Jarvis, Todd James, Gary Panter, Will Sweeney, John K. and more.
