adidas Originals Gives Pharrell Williams His Own Signature Sneaker, the PW ZX333 CORK

Damn Pharrell! Be still.

T o say, Pharrell Williams is nothing more than a singer/songwriter/producer would be an unobservant mistake and still an understatement to the many titles the Virginia-born influencer holds. Pharrell's track record to make musicians and brands successful in popular culture has leveraged him on the playing field in both music and fashion. A cultural icon with keen, insightful business decisions.

Recently reported, the i am OTHER founder is responsible for the adidas Group's ascending sales last year. How do you ask? Approaching 2015,  Pharrell Williams declared the coming year "The Year of the Superstar" releasing 50 pairs of the classic adidas silhouette in the "Supercolor" pack. The company reportedly sold over 15-million pairs, making the Superstars a billion-dollar industry and Skateboard P, a high income producer at the German multinational corporation.

As a sign of appreciation, the Herzog-based sneaker company has graced the "superstar" with his own signature sneaker dubbed the adidas Originals PW ZX333 CORK. The model falls in the brand’s iconic ZX running line, featuring a neoprene construction splashed in teal with–what seems to be a matching mid and cork outsole. Pharrell took his Instagram to announce the collaboration and to give fans an undiscerning preview.
