Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "What The"…Real or Fake?

W ith speculation circulating around the internet about a possible “What The” Air Jordan 1 Hi, J-heads finally get to see what the rumored silhouette may look like. The bruited "What The" takes on distinct Jordan Brand aesthetics, featuring a color palette we've all become familiar with like the “Chicago,” “Bred” and “Royal” colorways which have repeatedly adorned Air Jordan silhouettes. The "What The" were brought to light by Cam (@ISLAYTHEGAME), whom also reported the sneaker will see a summer release in July.
With this being the first look, the internet went wild. Several fashion blogs and sneaker sites wrote articles, while sneakerheads retweeted and shared the post via social media. The hype had already begun. No lie, we even got excited about the release and started calling one another over to get the first look at Air Jordan's "What The."
It wasn't until a certain DISQUS user, vnndo, called the release bogus. Vnndo, pointed out some interesting facts about the image above, in which we gave a second look. Vnndo commented:

Take a closer look to the details. There is a yellow tint of discoloration on the toe box, as well as hints of red from the original image. More dead give aways are the exact creases that are presented in both silhouettes, along with spot-specific detailing.
As much as we wanted the image above to be the "What The," as of right now, it seems like this is just a rumor and a fan showcasing his photo-editing skills. The Jordan team has not released any official info on Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "What The" model.

That's a photoshop of the 2015 chicago 1 official picture…Our first thought was, what does he know? Then we read,
Google image "air jordan 1" it's the fourth picture from sneakernews. Texture on toeboxes is a dead give away.We took his advice and googled "air max 1" and low and behold, vnndo was correct.
