adidas NMD XR1 "Olive"

Including a first look at the Black City Socks and printed Tubular Dooms.

With the success adidas has had with the release of its sock-like NMD silhouettes, the Herzog-based label is looking toward the future with a more elaborative variation of model, dubbing it the adidas NMD XR1.

Earlier in the month, we got the chance to see two silhouettes of adidas NMD XR1 model. Pharrell was caught sporting his yellow adidas NMD XR1 which featured the words 'Human Race' printed boldly across the upper, while a tonal grey made its way to the internet less than two weeks ago.

Today, a new colorway has surfaced featuring a complete knit upper in tonal military olive with a new cage construction, landing typically where you would see the customary three stripes branding. The upper's cage is probably the distinctive modification to the NMD line, while a slimmer and flushed EVA insert can be seen on the forefoot of the new NMD XR1.
