Nike Basketball Continues Kobe's Legacy with the Kobe 11 "Tinker Hatfield"
The Black Mamba remembers admiring Tinker's Air Jordan 3 as a young child.
N ike Basketball and Kobe revealed they will extend their joint venture and continue The Black Mamba's legacy with the Nike Kobe 11 "Muse Pack" which will draw inspiration from the Nike trifecta Eric Avar, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker.
To get the ball rolling, Nike released a short-visual last week, starring Kobe Bryant explaining his journey with Nike Basketball since their collaborative Huarache debut in 2004. Kobe also touches on his relationship with Eric Avar and their alike inspirations that influenced the Nike Kobe 11 'Avar' edition.
Today, another Nike-produced visual has surfaced with Kobe now touching on his collective efforts with Tinker Hatfield. The Nike Kobe 11 'Tinker Hatfield' edition will be the second installment to the Kobe 11 "Muse Pack." In the visual video below, Kobe recalls his favorite Tinker Hatfield design – the Air Jordan 3 – which is actually the muse for the upcoming Kobe 11 "Tinker Hatfield" release. Taking on the same classic colorway as the Air Jordan 3, Black/Grey gradient blends Flyknit base, with hints of red accents seeping through the upper while also making an appearance on the branding throughout. The look is finished with a grey leather tongue and Black embossed leather heel sitting atop of a white midsole. Get a detailed look below.
