Artist, eL Seed Remodels a Cairo Neighborhood with Massive 'Perception' Mural

This may have to go down as world record.

T unisian street artist, eL Seed takes the classic Arabic calligraphy to the walls of Cairo. In his latest piece titled "Perception," eL adopts the quote from a third-century Coptic Christian bishop who once stated, “If one wants to see the light of the sun, he must wipe his eyes.” Spanning over a total of fifty buildings, "Perception" is set in a poverty-stricken Cairo neighborhood of Manshiyat Naser. One can only view the painting in its entirety by standing on Mokattam Hill. Luckily for you, we have some close up shots of el Seed's "Perception" below.
