The Game Sends His Condolences in "Rest in Purple" (Prince Tribute)

Y esterday, the untimely death of the legendary musician Prince shocked more than the music world. It seemed to have touched the hearts of the one's who watched the iconic pop star during his early beginnings during the 80s. I too was wide-eyed when the Apollonia stripped naked and hopped in – what she thought was – Lake Minnetonka.

While celebrities like Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake and ?uestlove chimed in on the tragic loss, Los Angeles Emcee, The Game took his sentiments to the studio to send his condolences through song. Titled "Rest in Purple," the track gets assistance from Lorine Chia, who we previously heard on the 4/20-track "2 Blunts" featuring Wiz Khalifa.

@Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching #PurpleRain til the time I met him at Universal Music in 2006.... I was a fan then & I am a fan now ! His death was untimely & tragic... I'm sure the world is saddened as I was when I woke up to the news today....
