Kanye West's Pastelle Clothing Line (re)Lauches Next Week

However, it wont be launched by Kanye.

You may remember Ye rocking his Pastelle ensemble back when 808 & Heartbreaks was on the verge of being released. He even gave a nod to the brand on his first verse of the pre-EDM era hit "Stronger" rapping,

Not only was rapper cross-promoting his brand through song, Kanye was also seen wearing Pastelle at a Dior Fashion Show in 2008. Which was soon followed with a Pastelle x VMAN Magazine editorial featuring Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and Kanye. It seemed Kanye – the aspiring designer – clothing was gaining life. However, days after the Pastelle Lookbook images leaked, the brand was announced dead.

Now 7 years later, thanks to Kanye's protégé Ian Connor, Pastelle is slowing making its way to the spotlight. Ian recently took to social media to announce that Kanye had gifted him the clothing line.

Since Connor's tweet, the anticipation has slowly been building up with Connor posting pictures of him sporting “one of the greatest brands that never was.”





While pictures of production and samples have surfaced, either to reassure fans or just building the hype, the 23 year-old Ian Connor is ready to debut Pastelle. There is no certainty if the photos Ian's shared via social media is what we can expect from the brand's comeback but sources are telling us we can expect to see Pastelle rerelease next Saturday May 14th.
