Watch Nas' Executive-Produced Skateboard Film 'The Land' (Trailer)

Nas has been venturing into different disciplines of the culture lately. With the launch of his clothing line HSTRY, the Queensbridge emcee will also be credited for executive-producing a new film, The Land. The film is skateboarding drama about four teens – Cisco, Boobie, Junior, and Patty Cake – shredding the streets of Cleveland with hopes of being discovered by a sponsor and skate their way out of poverty. This all changes, when when the teens find a bag of full of drugs and start pushing towards that better life. Thing is, they forget there's repercussions and consequences when you run off on the plug.

Director Steven Caple Jr. leads a star-studded cast starring Erykah Badu, Machine Gun Kelly, Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire) and Linda Emond who is plays the plug, as Momma. The Land debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and was applauded for it's storyline but also it's A-List soundtrack featuring Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Pusha T, Jeremih and French Montana among many others.
