Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Olympic’ 2016 Release Date

Coming back like they never left.

Honoring the 20th Anniversary of the 1996 Olympic Dream Team 2, Nike Sportswear will be bringing back some memorable silhouettes from the era, including the Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Olympic’ edition. The 'Olympic' color theme originally debuted on Scottie Pippen as he and the Dream Team 2 brought home the gold at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.

The 2016 ‘Olympic’ Nike Air More Uptempo, will boast original qualities as it's 1996 and 2012 releases, with a Midnight Navy nubuck base and white leather overlays making up the toe cap, the enlarged "AIR" across the side and the heel. Navy can also be found on the tongue, lining and branding throughout while Metallic Gold sits inside the contained air bubble and Sport Red land on the tongue's Swoosh.
