Jordan Brands Celebrates "Flu Game" with Pop-Up in Salt Lake City

Celebrating MJ's ailing Game 5.

In honor of the iconic Game 5 of the 1997 Finals, Jordan Brand will opening a special pop-up shop at Fice Boutique celebrating the 19th anniversary of the iconic flu game. Where sure you've became very familiar we with the term, especially if you're a fan of the classic Air Jordan 12 silhouette. But just in-case you missed the memo, the flu game references Game 5, where a flu-ridden Michael Jordan took to the hardwood and dropped an amazing 37 points against the Utah Jazz, while battling the ailing virus. Jordan led the Bulls to victory and eventually took the Finals series for his fifth NBA title.

The pop-up shop at Fice Boutique will host a limited edition run of the upcoming red/white Air Jordan 12 Retro. Word is, Jordan Brand may also re-stock the notable Flu Game 12s as well – the same edition MJ wore during the unforgettable match up.
