adidas Consortium World Tour Lands in London for Footpatrol's EQT Cushion 93

Footpatrol puts their twist on adidas classic running silhouette.

T he adidas Consortium World tour was set off with San Francisco's Nice Kicks, then trotted across the nation to join forces with New York's Kith. The last stop was in Berlin with Solebox's Uncaged Ultra Boost – which I am still trying to get my hands on today. Now, the World Tour lands in London for a collaboration with UK's premiere sneaker boutique Footpatrol.

The collaboration is expressed over the adidas EQT Cushion 93 model with a nylon and mesh base with Black nubuck panels. Cream premium pig-skin suede panels also making up the silhouettes upper while Burgundy lands on the panel's three stripes as well as the lining and lace clips while. The silhouette sits atop a white midsole with hints 3M Some highlights include the Foot Patrol branding found on each heel and lace clips.

Now for a bit of history. The Equipment line was first launched in the early 90s. adidas' aim was to take things back to basics, to focus on pure performance; to make a running shoe that really worked for runners. By 1993, the Equipment line had various footwear models designed to cater to every type of runner: the Support for supinators; the Guidance for pronators; the stripped-back Racer and the Cushion, a more supportive model designed to offer all-round comfort.
